Whether you are searching for a gown for a formal or a semi-formal event, Elyse’s Boutique has a wide selection of gowns in the shop for immediate purchase appropriate for Weddings, Homecoming, Winter Formal, Sweetheart Dance, Spring Fling, & Prom, as well as Cruises, Parties, Showers, Pageants, Balls, or Charity Events.
We have gowns by Cinderella, Ally, Jewel, Nikki, Nightway, Partytime, as well as many other well known designers. Our wedding gowns & bridal party gowns are from Eden Bridals. In Fall 2010, we will also be adding the Liz Fields line of gowns!
The gowns we have to choose from changes constantly because as we sell gowns we replenish with more, always trying to keep at least 2000 gowns in the shop at all times to give you the best selection around.
Our gowns tend to be a little unique either in color or style. These are NOT your everyday mall gowns. They’re modern, chic and for the young or young in spirit shopper. We have sizes 0 to 18 in the shop and can order up to size 28 in some styles.
We also carry our own line of gowns, Elana Michele Collection, which are specially made to our specifications. These gowns are absolutely not available anywhere else!
Elyse's Boutique understands many girls are budget conscious and so we have a some short & long gowns around $100, others are between $150-$400. Our wedding gowns are $350-$1200 & bridesmaids are $130-$225.
All Brand New. We are not a consignment or resale shop.
Wedding
We have more than 100 different styles of wedding gowns to choose from in our store. Our inventory changes constantly with new gowns being added as gowns are sold. These gowns are off-the-rack, so if you decide on an Elyse's Boutique gown you can take it home with you that day!
We also have over 300 other styles that can be ordered from Eden Bridals & Liz Fields. We are showing just a few gowns below but you can click the links at the bottom of this page to go directly to Eden Bridals & Liz Fields websites and see every gown that is available. These gowns are special ordered just for you. We always have some of these gowns in the store for you to see and try on as well. We are happy to sell you one of these "sample" gowns as well.
The most important part of your wedding day (besides the groom!) is your wedding gown. It's a gorgeous gown that you wear only one special day, but enjoy the memories and photos of, for generations to come.
Mothers Gowns
Our mothers gowns cater more to the young in spirit mother. Many mothers choose a "bridesmaid" gown and add a wrap or jacket as this is a lesser expensive option than a traditional mothers gown.
If you don't want a jacketed gown then any number of our evening gowns would be perfect! We can even show you how to tie a wrap to cover your shoulders.

We also record the gowns by school & event ensuring we do not sell the exact same gown to two girls at the same school. No one likes to see someone else wearing "their" special gown!

Prom
Prom dress shopping begins in December and reaches it's peak in February as some proms start as early as April. If you wait until Prom is a week away your choices are a little more limited! Be open and try on that dress that was ugly on the rack...chances are it's wonderful on!
Evening Gowns
We also carry evening gowns appropriate for your bridal party or for other special occasions such as the engagement party, wedding shower, or rehearsal dinner, dances, cruises, balls, parties, pageants and other formal events.
Our "maids" gowns, both long and short, are available in sizes ranging from 0 to 28 and in over 60 colors. Most of these can be ordered in different fabrics (satin, chiffon, taffetta, velvet) or different lengths (cocktail, tea, long) for a nominal charge. The "maids" gowns shown are from Eden Bridals.
Ask us about the gowns that are immediately available for purchase and the ones that can be ordered and received within two weeks at no additional charge!
If your wedding party is small, you might just find the perfect gown right off the rack, as we typically have more than 2000 long and short gowns (formal & semi-formal) in the shop at all times.
Special Orders
Some of our gowns can be special ordered in different sizes and/or colors. This could be a gown that we have in the shop in one size or color and you want a different size or color. Or it could be a gown that you find in one of our catalogs and wish to order.
You will be measured and the size that is closest to your measurements will be the size that is ordered. A special order gown is still in all likelihood going to need to be altered.
We require at least 50% of the total cost at the time the order is taken. We prefer to order all the gowns for a bridal party at the same time. Your order will be placed with the manufacturer within 48 hours and we will contact you with an expected arrival date as soon as we receive it. Once your gown arrives at the shop it will be steamed/ironed and you will be contacted to come in and make the final payment and pick up your dress. There are no returns on special orders.
Sizing
Please do not become distressed about sizing during your shopping trip. Manufacturers of formalwear do not size their clothing the same as manufacturers of sportswear such as jeans, t-shirts, etc. Also, we have gotten so used to wearing loose fitting comfy clothes that we aren't used to seeing ourselves in something that is form fitting and figure flattering.
When you come into the store we will ask if you are looking for a particular style or color. We will also ask what type of event you are shopping for since this may limit your choices. We will also ask if you know what size you wear. Don't worry. Hardly anyone knows what size gown they wear. It's not something you shop for that often and the sizing is CRAZY!
Usually we will start with your pant size if you appear to be curvy there or start with your top size if you are curvy there instead. This is probably the smallest size you can possibly wear. Most of the time you will have to go up one or two sizes or more. We also know that unless you are fairly tall or just happen to have the exact same measurements as the model that the manufacturer used when they made the dress, you are probably going to have to have some alterations done to have a perfect fit.
If you come in and tell us you are a size 4 and we show you something in a size 8, please don't be upset. Many times, we have seen the dress on someone else and know how it fits. Our size 0 model who works in the shop can wear anywhere from a size 0 to a size 6 in our gowns. So we know first hand how much the sizing is off.
Any dress can be altered to fit your figure perfectly. Most of the alterations on gowns (other than wedding gowns) can be done very inexpensively.
For this reason, when you walk into our store you will not see the dresses displayed by size. You will see them organized by color, style, and/or price. So, if you see a dress you absolutely LOVE, and it's close to your size, try it on!
Oh, and we will happily cut out any size tag once you buy the dress!
Alterations
Now that you have the dress, it is time to make it your own by altering it perfectly to your body. Sometimes it is something as simple as shortening a strap, moving a button or snap or even hemming the gown to the correct length.
Many times, especially with wedding gowns having a long train, you will want to have a bustle put in the gown. A bustle is just a fancy term for small buttons or snaps put in your gown to lift up the train and attach it attractively to the back of your gown to make it easier for you to walk and dance at the reception.
Be sure to budget for good alterations whether you have them done with one of the seamstresses we suggest or a different seamstress you know and trust. The charge for alterations is based on the difficulty and amount of changes that you want to be done to the gown. They set their own pricing and are happy to give you a quote after seeing you in the gown with proper undergarments and shoes. (Don't have the gown altered and then decide later that you are going to wear a body shaper...it will totally change the way the dress fits and you will have to have it redone!)
Alterations should be started two to three months before the wedding date. It is important not to start too early as, (like it or not), brides tend to gain or lose weight as the wedding day approaches. Allow an additional two weeks if you intend to dry-clean your gown prior to the wedding.
In the case of alterations for any other type of gown, allow at least two weeks for them to be completed before the event. Remember you aren't the only bride in town or the only girl going to Homecoming or Prom!
There are a number of qualified seamstresses in the area. We are happy to give you a referral. Ultimately, you need to take the time to meet with them to find the one that works with you and your vision in the best possible way.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and personal checks with proper identification. Layaway is also available.
Layaway Policy
Layaway is available on any gown purchased over $150. Initial payment of at least 50% is required. All payments on layaway items are non-refundable. NO EXCEPTIONS! Including cancellations!
The time allowed for a layaway is 60 days from the original date of purchase. All payments must be received on or before the 60th day or you will lose all payments made.
You cannot change the gown in layaway, including size and/or color after the layaway is established. All sales are final.
Any specials or discounts available at the time of the initial payment will be applied, however, subsequent specials or discounts that occur during the layaway period (60 days) are not applicable.
As a courtesy, we will contact you approximately one week before the end of the layaway period to remind you that the layaway is about to expire.
We reserve the right to change these policies at any time.
All Sales Are Final
We want you to be happy with the items you purchase at Elyse's Boutique. This is one of the main reasons we will not sell a dress by phone or over the Internet.
We want you to try on the gown to make sure you are happy with the overall look and style. What looks perfect on a professional model may not look so perfect on a real person. Trust me on this on!
So, all sales are final. No exceptions.
